About our Retirement Counseling Classes
Retirement counseling classes are presented at the Retirement Office. These two-hour group sessions are designed to help you plan for your retirement. It is never too early to plan for your retirement!
Topics Include:
- How your retirement benefit is calculated
- Choosing your retirement date
- How your benefit is paid
- Insurances in retirement
- Taxes and other deductions
- Requesting an estimate and using the on-line calculator
You can enroll through the County On-line Registration System (CORS). Once on the CORS website, select “Retirement: SCERA” to continue.
