Important Notice: Be Aware of Potential Scam Calls

SCERA has been made aware of potentially fraudulent phone calls occurring in a neighboring county involving callers claiming to be from Via Benefits on behalf of the county's retirement system.  SCERA has not received any reports of these calls involving SCERA members or retirees.

As a precaution, please be aware that Via Benefits is not calling on behalf of SCERA.  If you receive a call from someone claiming to represent Via Benefits on behalf of SCERA, do not provide personal, financial, or other private information.
