Financial Reports

The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) contains detailed information about SCERA's financial statements, investment performance, and actuarial assumptions, as well as data pertaining to the number and status of the system's members.

The Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) is a summary of the ACFR. It highlights only the topics of most frequent interest including net assets, revenue, expenses, and membership. Brief comments from the Administrator are also provided.

SCERA has consistently received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for both the AR and the PAFR. The certificates are awarded by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) to those agencies that publish an easily readable and efficiently organized ACFR and/or PAFR.
