Forms and Publications

Active are defined as employees currently working for a SCERA-covered employer.

Retired includes retirees and beneficiaries who are receiving a monthly benefit from SCERA.

Deferred are defined as individuals who are not currently working for a SCERA-covered employer, have left their contributions on deposit, but are not collecting a retirement benefit. 

Deferred Transferred are defined as individuals who left SCERA-covered employment, deferred their retirement and developed reciprocity with another California Public Retirement System.
